ABOUT UNDER THE MANGO TREE
ABOUT UNDER THE MANGO TREE
Under the Mango Tree was born from a mother’s search for authentic music to share with her child — and a teacher’s desire to create diverse learning tools inspired by her Caribbean heritage and work with young people
Now it’s a growing movement — with a team of educators, artists and creatives working together to make meaningful, joyful content for the next generation.

LOVED BY CHILDREN AND PARENTS
Our engaging activities and creative resources are trusted by families , schools and organisations across the UK to support learning and spark imagination.
The children were very engaged. Children loved the interaction and it was very hands on. The best part was that it was differentiated for all abilities. All children including SEN could take part. The staffing was very well delegated and we all felt really well directed. Overall we loved it and would highly recommend it to others.'

The collection of songs and nursery rhymes from Under the Mango Tree really capture the warmth and vibrancy of the Caribbean. Rasta Lullaby is a great alternative to traditional white noise helping to calm younger minds perfectly at bedtime. Learning numbers and colours with the catchy Butterfly Song and recognising foods from our culture in Market Song bring great opportunities to keep our connections to our heritage strong in a fun and playful way. Under the Mango Tree resources are age appropriate, fun and full of joy and love.

The children loved the session and so did all of us. It was engaging for all children and really good that all staff got a job to do also. The song is really catchy. It was very well organised and the pace was good. We would highly recommend. Thank you so much.

The animations are very eye-catching, colourful and engaging. The music is beautiful- educational, soothing and also catchy. So many great things are offered with this animation and music combination, the biggest one being cultural education and representation that is accessible across all backgrounds. One thing you could do differently (and easily) is to add subtitles so they're available to a wider audience but so that it also encourages us to sing along.

I thought that the sound was really beautiful, I really like how the rhymes are something that lots of kids would love while still clearly being inspired by the carribean, and for me as a Seychellois, it feels like something that would have really resonated with me when I was younger and other kids from the islands. I really loved the songs and the animation was really nice and clean.

As someone who has worked in primary education for over 30 years, I can confidently say this is one of the best and most diverse music albums created for children—from nursery age right up to Year 6. This vibrant collection of songs is infused with a joyful Caribbean flare and a toe-tapping reggae beat that immediately captures the children’s attention. The tunes are irresistibly catchy—so much so that I often heard children humming or singing them throughout the day, completely unprompted!
